Architectural Design, Constructive Development & Integration
- Lead the architectural and constructive design development of technically complex projects from concept through detailed design.
- Translate architectural concepts into buildable systems with a strong focus on constructability, detailing, and execution logic.
- Develop and coordinate technical details involving steel, glass, membrane, and hybrid construction systems.
- Ensure architectural designs are fully coordinated with structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Evaluate architectural solutions with respect to feasibility, performance, durability, and execution constraints.
- Maintain design quality while balancing technical, functional, and economic requirements.
- Contribute to defining future workflows, role profiles, and interface standards for mechanical engineering.
- Actively produce and develop architectural drawings, models, and technical details as part of the project team.
- Actively work with industry-standard design and modeling tools, including AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and Inventor, as part of daily project work.
- Develop and coordinate 2D drawings, 3D models, and technical details suitable for coordination, tendering, and execution.
- Support BIM-based workflows and interdisciplinary coordination using digital models.
- Ensure digital models and drawings reflect constructability, tolerances, and interface requirements.
- Act as the architectural project lead within interdisciplinary project teams, leading through direct technical contribution and coordination.
- Coordinate architectural inputs across internal disciplines and external consultants.
- Take ownership of architectural interfaces, tolerances, and integration with adjacent systems.
- Support the preparation of coordinated design packages suitable for tendering, fabrication, and construction.
- Participate in technical reviews, design workshops, and coordination meetings with clients, engineers, and partners.
- Support architectural aspects during fabrication and construction phases to ensure design intent is correctly implemented.
- Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and samples in coordination with engineers and suppliers.
- Provide architectural input during site activities, addressing technical queries and interface issues.
- Ensure architectural details are executed in line with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to junior architects within project teams.
- Actively support the development of architectural detailing, material understanding, and construction knowledge across the team.
- Contribute to internal standards, best practices, and constructive design methodologies.
- Foster a culture of precision, craftsmanship, and technical curiosity within the design team.
- Ensure architectural documentation is clear, consistent, and suitable for technical coordination and execution.
- Maintain traceability of design decisions, changes, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Contribute to structured design reviews and internal quality assurance processes.
- 7–10 years of professional experience as an architect in a technically driven and constructive environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in constructive detailing and technical design development.
- Broad understanding of materials and systems, including steel, glass, membrane, and lightweight structures.
- Proven ability to coordinate architectural work within interdisciplinary engineering teams.
- Confidence in taking a project-based leadership role while remaining a hands-on contributor within the design team.
- Ability to mentor and technically support less experienced architects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design intent clearly to engineers, suppliers, and site teams.
- Strong practical proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and/or Inventor; ability to work hands-on within project teams.
- Comfortable switching between conceptual design, detailed technical development, and coordination documentation.
